Carlo Rizzo

Carlo Rizzo is co-founder of CinemaO Foundation, a non-profit organisation building the next generation of community-led cinemas. The Foundation’s first cinema will open in Milan in 2026 as a hybrid space for production and experimentation. It is designed to support creative and entrepreneurial practices in the audiovisual sector and foster collective experiences beyond pure entertainment and personal screens.

Carlo is also co-founder of The Black Cube, CinemaO’s think tank and editorial research platform dedicated to FilmTech. Launched in May 2025 in partnership with Cannes Next – the technology program of the Cannes Film Festival – The Black Cube amplifies the voices of industry leaders transforming how audiovisual content is produced, shared, and experienced.

CinemaO and The Black Cube were co-founded with Giulia Yoko Galbarini and are supported by the City of Milan.
